I was contacted out the blue by a "senior executive consultant" via a professional networking platform enquiring if I would be interested in a role they were working on. I confirmed my interest and a phone conversation was scheduled. After going through 2 phone calls with different "consultants" and an online test I was then told the next step would be an onsite test with the hiring company and I would be contacted to discuss dates.
This never happened and after several attempts to contact the consultants for feedback non of my calls or emails were returned. I find it very unprofessional to have been so far through the recruitment process for the consultants to then not contact me to provide any feedback as to why I have been unsuccessful, especially when it was they who contacted me first about the role.
