We went to the cafe at the station for our lunch. The 3 tables that were free hadn't been cleared, the table was sticky and looked like all kids working no one really in charge. Prices were good but the jacket spuds we had were not, my partner's spud was cold and mine was under cooked. When it says a large mug of tea it ended up a small mug! May be worth trying the all day breakfast next time. Yes we will go back as the station itself is a great place to look round and the train trips are very nice too.

We were here for the Railways at Work Gala held on the Great Central Railway (Loughborough). Our visit was on Sunday, 20 March 2022. A total of five steam locomotives in use (4 x passenger service & 1 x freight movement). A fantastic atmosphere and plenty to see and do. I would recommend the Great Central Railway for a full day out. We were expecting to stay for a couple of hours, but it turned into a whole day.

We visited the Railway's at Work weekend March 19th/29th 2022. Great event with 5 locomotives in steam. Lots of loading and unloading of wagons at Quorn and Woodhouse station. We also stayed for the 6.30pm Fish & Chip train in the evening. We thought the tickets were good value for money and well done to everyone who worked so hard putting on the event.

A step back in time to the 1940s. If you're a train enthusiast it's definitely for you. Trains run from Loughborough to Leicester.

We visited her for the santa visit. The children loved it, they spoke to Mrs claus and saw Elfs as well as the big man himself. Santa. The kids got a present of santa, as well as a drink, chocolate coins and sweets and a cookie. Us adults got a drink and mince pie. There was a couple of rides and games like hook a duck on site which the kids loved.

Train ride was just the right length that kids didn't get bored. Only downside was due to covid you didn't see santa for very long. Spoke to Mrs claus for longer than santa. There is a bar and a cafe here also however we brought our own food and drink as we wasn't sure what would be there.

First Santa train trip for my granddaughter. Although she wasn't to sure of santa she loved the train ride and the fair ground rides. The staff were great at getting my 88 year old mum, who has mobility issues, on and off the train

Cracking vintage railway. 4 stations to visit. Loughborough Central was a bit disappointing to look at but went on to Quorn & was delighted at it's charm & cafe. Impressed that you could watch the trains up close without having to buy tickets.
