Established in 2000 by Director Tim Griffin, GB Recruitment continues to provide experienced supply staff successfully to Primary, Secondary and SEND Schools and Private Day Nurseries. We proudly serve Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and Cheshire East. Over many years, we have supported and employed thousands of staff back into the education system.
Through GB Recruitment, DBS Disclosures act as a totally independent and dedicated umbrella body for any organisations not registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service, who require access to information from the disclosure service. DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks are necessary for checking people's criminal records, particularly if they have applied for specific jobs or voluntary work with children.

I have just finished my first term working for GB after being made redundant from a school that I worked at for 17 years. I was a bit apprehensive about signing up for supply work but it has been a great experience - much better than I expected. Lisa is fantastic and has found me placements suitable for my requirements and always checks with me first. I have worked at some really lovely schools and am looking forward to my next placement after Christmas that I am booked for.
