Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers. Our vision is a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included. There are over 340 independent Network Partners working with us in communities across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

We don't have a 'standard' approach at Mencap - all our personal support and services start with us spending time to understand you as an individual. Whether you are looking to find your first paid job, move into your own place, find leisure activities in your local area, or you need advice on an issue that's important to you, we can help.

Our no-nonsense information and resources will help you get to grips with learning disability. The answer is that it's different for every person who has one.
