I am a diverse and passionate recruiter with over 20 years' experience of working within fast paced environments. I pride myself on being able to offer both my clients and candidates a superb professional and honest service. I am a very adaptable, an excellent communicator, an experienced head-hunter, and recruited both In-House & Agency, and I am used to handling confidential and sensitive recruitment projects.
At Jobshop UK we pride ourselves on our personal, friendly service and that we take time to listen to our clients' needs. We are interested in building long-term relationships and genuinely care about our clients and candidates. However, if you have a one-off need, we would love to hear from you too.
We often have to help our clients with writing a job description particularly if you don't have a HR department to help you. Is there someone in the role at the moment that can provide a handover, if so how much time do you have with that person before they leave. If the post is vacant because someone has already left, is it critical to have cover (a temporary member of staff) to fill the gap whilst you look for someone else? Could you consider someone on a temporary to permanent basis, that way you and the candidate can "try before you buy".
Determine the soft skills that are important for the role i.e. communication skills etc and ask questions around that. Talk to them in more detail about the company and explain the organisational structure etc and the reason for the vacancy (not giving too much detail about the actual role at this stage).
