Headstart Employment

I started working with the agency on October 16th 2020 as loader for UPS. The owner is amazingly hands-on with her business and incredibly supportive, she along with so many of her staff have an impressive dedication to clear communication, not once in the 5months of being in their employ have I ever experienced a misunderstanding. It's all been very transparent.

If you need work, this is **the** agency to sign up for. Pleasant, professional and principled on achieving their worker's goals for employment. And in my experience the pay was pretty good too.;-

Worked with Headstart employment for a brief period. In times I needed a job as the company I worked had filed for insolvency. Susie helped me get a part time job at UPS which was lovely. In between I did have some hiccups but the issue was resolved by Susie's professional approach. Now that I have got a job in my trade, I had to give up the job at UPS. I wish Susie and Headstart employment a successful new year and pray she keeps up the good, which I am confident she will.

On behalf of Ms. Heffernan: I have had excellent treatment from Amy throughout the process and start my new job next week! I applied online via Reed three weeks ago and, having read my CV, Amy called me within half a day to arrange an appointment to register with Headstart and pre-interview me for her client. She then arranged an interview with the employer who offered me the job that afternoon, but Amy has kept in touch and confirmed the terms of employment, start date etc by e-mail and phone.

It is nice to know that there are job agencies who actually read your CV and consider experience as well as qualifications, rather than just searching for key words. Keep up the good work, Headstart and a big THANK YOU to Amy!

Great service! Quick and very efficient. Within the space of 2 days the lovely Emma helped me find work that suited me perfectly. She was very helpful and kept in contact to make sure I settled in okay even after I got the job. Would definitely recommend.

I have been working for Headstart Employment since June 2018. The staff have all been so helpful, polite and were very keen to find employment for me. I have always been paid on time and correctly. A special mention to Julie in the Payroll Team and Susie, the Owner of the Company, who have always treated me with kindness and respect. CM

Unfortunately I did not receive any sort of service from this agency when job hunting. Firstly, I sent them my CV with details of the exact location, work and hours I was looking for and received a reply asking questions I had already given the answers to. Then I heard nothing for 10 weeks to receive a voicemail saying they had seen my CV online and was I interested in a particular position. Considering I sent them my consicely written and professional CV, I can only assume incompetence or a lack of a decent database. Thankfully I found a suitable job independently on Indeed and wouldn't waste my time liaising with this office again as they clearly don't use efficient systems and procedures. I used this agency to temp with 18 years ago and they were very good then - standards have obviously slipped tremendously.

Amy called me after seeing my CV online and saw that i had potential for the role and set up the interview. the process for the most part was seamless and i got the role most importantly. Amy was amazing and was very attentive. and Headstart as a whole is a good company! A+

Wow! These guys are quick! They found me the perfect position and I was offered the role within a week! I was also guided throughout the process and all my questions were dealt with immediately. Amy has been absolutely fantastic from the get go. She was very informative and made sure I was kept up to date from the initial stages all the way to securing a position. Having lost confidence in trying to find work with other agencies I felt that due to my age I felt discriminated against but then I was contacted by Lisa having seen my online CV. Lisa was welcoming and positive and arranged an interview the next day. I saw Natalie for the interview, again really positive and I felt that I was genuinely being helped and my age was never an issue. Now I am feeling positive that I will find work through Headstart.
