Hello, I do not recommend this agency in terms of not being payable. The man is using oil, they say that money will be paid out on the given day and they have been for three weeks inventing the case in progress with bureaucracy and then no one answers no message I am interested in people who have bills and pay, but I will not leave it and I report. it to citizen advice I warn you and I do not recommend working for free not competent people lack of culture I do not recommend again and think about it 10 times I would not think that Free worked I am already waiting 3 weeks to be paid on 28/12 and no money

I signed with this agency to work as a temp I was given a few contracts in the beginning I was quite happy, then after a few months things started to change there was a disagreement regarding my contract with the company I was working for I had done nothing wrong always early to start work and always completed my daily tasks they did not want to hear my side of the story they sided completely with the client I did manage to get information from one of the employees of the company I was temping for at the time and they told me they wanted me out due to another employees family member replacing me, this is absolutely disgusting to treat people this was, if you are considering joining a agency don't bother with one as they will probably treat you the same as they treated me.

Whenever I've been to a recruitment agency, the people inside are generally pretty helpful. After all, they make money from finding you a job. I recently popped into Acorn because I was on my way back from a job interview in a place I didn't really want to work (I hate call centres) and figured as I was already suited, booted and looking generally employable, I would have a go.
I was told there was nothing I could do in the branch and I have to search for vacancis myself online. That's not a problem obviously but in my previous dealings with agencies, the point of it was always that they did the searching for me, and then they pocketed an hourly rate from my employment. So went to a different agency where they actually did earn their money and do the searching on my behalf.

This employment agency is part of a big national chain. They have a good reputation in Cardiff and have secured several major temporary staff supply contracts. For example, the Welsh Assembly Government has an exclusive contract with Acorn and uses them for any temporary staff they need. In addition many of the local councils in South Wales use this branch of Acorn because they know that vetting procedures are strictly adhered to.
The big attraction to a job seeker of registering with this agency is that it can provides access to some of the best employers in the area. Many workers, after working as a temp., find that they are considered favourably when a permanent vacancy with their host organisation occurs.
