Hello, I have mixed experience with Chase Associates Ltd, but i guess this review will sums it up. This is actually happened: I looked them up in december, told them that i'm available for work at any time day/night shift etc. In their office they asked me regular questions everything seemed that it went smoothly (i told them that i have no transport so if the place where i can go is far from my address then i can only start later due to the fact that buses depart from 7'o clock in the morning near me), on the same day i got my first job at Downton, and here is where the fun starts: I asked them to send me an address and since we live in the age of feedbacks, google etc. i thought they will give me the postcode of the site but instead the following happened: They gave me an address that pointed in google maps in the middle of nowhere.
Yes the postcode was far from where i had to be. Okay no problem, i found the depo about an hour later they called me where am i, then i was already at a Downton depo which was the closest one to the given address. I was then told that i'm in the wrong depo. after 2 hours of the start of the shift i finally arrived to the site where i worked for 1 and a half day.
If you are in the employment of Chase Associates Ltd and they send you addresses for example like this, then make sure you call them back for more information, since their administrative skills consists roughly about what's written below: "This email is confirming your work assignment/s for week commencing DD/MM/YY, the details for which are as follows: - COMPANY NAME: CM Downton POSITION: General Operative REPORTING TO:" The last line was empty so i didn't even knew who should i look for.
After this i gave them another shot, about 2 weeks later they called and had another job at a different Downton depo. How it happened: One of the CA staff called me that am i available for work? And with that he also told me that can i get there in 30 mins? Note: i mentioned earlier that i don't have transport so it's funny how easy to notice that the level of communication among CA staff members is basically not even exist or they don't fill out additional information which at this point raises some questions about their competency.
Just because this depo was 20 miles away from my address So i said yes but i will be late, so they give me a lift on the first day which is the only positive point so far. At the site i met the store/shop leader who barely told me anything what to do and when he did it was hard to understand. After the third day he was surprised that what am i doing on site.
I showed him the text message CA staff sent me in which they stated that i'm in on the whole week. Another example of a communication failure which resulted in an unnecessary 1.5 hrs long trip. After this they sent me a voice mail, to call them up. On the phone the CA staff member told me to wait while she asks her superior. After 5 minutes of wait they put down the phone.
That was 5 weeks ago. Please note that this isn't a rant / defaming post. This is Chase Associates today. I had previous experience in working with them a few years back, but it was much different then now.
