I applied for a job recently for a design engineering role. This company responded to my aplication with a phonecall. The entire purpose of this call turned out to be to berate me about the fact I have switched jobs recently. Aparently the fact that I am currently working in a temporary job while trying to apply for my next career position in engineering makes me an undesirable candidate as "my client is looking for somone who wants to stick around".
I tried to explain that finding a job I could stay in long term was exactly the purpose of my aplication but they were having none of it. If that is the case then so be it, but why get my hopes up contacting me about the job if it was for no other purpose than to take shots at me. Im thourghly dissapointed by this experience. The posting seemed like a great fit for my next steps but it seems like the company have denied themselves a kene candiadate by employing an utterly incompetent agency for recruitment. I hope I dont have the misfortune of dealing with them again and I urge any busniss to please use another agency. What a terrible shame this all is!

Worked on a assignment managed by them for over a year and haven't got a bad word to say about them. Any questions I had were answered quickly and well, they never missed or delayed a payment and were extremely friendly whenever I spoke to them. I can only hope my new recruiting agency is as good as Purely was!
