Chefs On The Move In 1996 I became self-employed providing relief for award winning chefs, hotels and restaurants around northern Scotland. During this time I was also catering at castles, private houses and shooting lodges. This ranged from 1 week to 4 months and included wedding catering. I also worked freelance as a around the Sydney region doing a mix of restaurant and private work. On returning to Scotland in 2004 I helped old friends, in the kitchen, at their highland inn in Perthshire Scotland until 2006 when I went freelance again.

Stalking, Grouse, Pheasant shooting or just visits to enjoy the Scottish landscape and all the other activities on offer. I also have all the skills to prepare and cook whatever may be sent to the kitchen after a successful day on the hill or at the river. Now that the dust has settled, just a few lines to let you know that we were thrilled with the standard of your cooking. Not just ourselves but all our guests were full of glowing comments. I have experience in catering for a variety of corporate and business entertaining events. Business entertaining, company conventions, or just a getaway to reward hard working and loyal staff. Menus are always bespoke in consultation with clients, so the food on offer is exactly what suits your party.
I have now catered at over 130 weddings in all kinds of locations and kitchens across Scotland. It is also important to be able to entrust your wedding meal to a chef with a lot of experience in wedding catering. My wedding menus have all been honed and perfected at all kinds of weddings for all kinds of guests to ensure that your selections will suit all of your party.
Ensure that everyone can have a relaxing time on your holiday or celebration, by having a private chef take care of all the cooking and shopping. I can fit in with any kind of holiday group whether it be a reunion of old school friends or families with children. I have happily welcomed assistants and spectators into the kitchen as well as holding a scone making masterclass for the under 10's.

Mark and his amazing team at Chefs on the Move catered for our wedding in September and from minute one, the service they offered was absolutely faultless. The food was exceptional and all of our guests are still raving about it 6 weeks on (even the notoriously fussy ones)! Mark was incredibly flexible with our choice of menu and made sure that it was totally tailored to exactly what we wanted, providing advice and guidance along the way.

All of Mark's staff were amazing, and made the day run so smoothly, we honestly could not fault one thing about the whole service. As for Mark, we can't thank him enough for everything he did - he went above and beyond his role as a caterer and our day would not have been anywhere near as good without him and his team. In terms of value for money, you will not a find a better company, and trust us, we did a LOT of research!

We cannot recommend Chefs on the Move enough, and we will certainly be using their services again in the future. Thanks once again to Mark and the team for making our day so special.

This is a review from a wedding guests' perspective - and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed with the both the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff. The canapes were really excellent, but the main meal was just something else - absolutely fantastic food. I would thoroughly recommend.

I cannot recommend Chefs on the Move highly enough. They did our wedding in the New Forest 6 years ago and I still crave the excellent food provided on the day. They also went the extra mile with little personal requests to make the day extra magical

Mark did the catering for my daughters wedding held at Barton Manor hall on the Isle of Wight. The setting was beautiful, but probably not the easiest venue in catering terms but Mark did a splendid job. Everyone was extremely complimentary about the food and service provided, so thank you Mark and Co for your contribution to a wonderful memorable day.

Mark and his team produced a veritable feast for our Valentine Event. Beautiful table decorations and fantastic food which was delivered with style and panache. Excellent all round.
