In 2017 we decided we needed a clearer brand identity to meet strategic objectives for growth while maintaining the professional and trusted recruitment service we had built over 25 years. To do this we focussed our efforts on re-developing our brand values as a foundation for everything else. Our people were a core part of this.

If you think back to a time before the internet, smartphones and cloud-based tech, why would anyone have a need to bring their work home? Now people are given work mobiles, laptops and can remotely work from anywhere.
The importance of work-life balance has become high on the agenda for the majority of working people. However, most don't seem to be able to get the balance right for them. According to a recent study by Investors in People, 22% said they are looking for a job with a better work-life balance. Furthermore, a whopping 77% said they felt stressed at work suggesting their work-life balance is out of sync. That's why I've written this article, to give you an understanding of the importance of work-life balance on your career and personal life.

Received excellent service from ASC, they're not just a CV mill and actually take the time to match you with the right company. Peter Nee who placed me in my current role took the time to prime me for my interviews and debriefed me afterwards. After my experience with ASC I'm convinced of two things I wouldn't have been put forward for the job if I wasn't suitable and I doubt I'd have gotten the job if I was dealing with another recruitment company Quality company with great staff

I was contacted by Ash after submitting my updated CV on Job Site and within a week, I had a new job. Ash was able to put me at ease with my initial concerns about the role he put forward and we decided to go ahead with the interview. He was able to negotiate me a good salary increase to boot. I first joined ASC Connection around the start of November 2021 and Peter Nee contacted me within a day or so with a job proposal. I in turn reviewed the company on line and ran a few checks only to find that not only had I used them in the past on several position.occasion within my roles as Quality Manager but held them in high respect. Any cut a long story short Peter had arranged a Teams interview followed up by a more formal face to face interview at their site in Letchworth.
Two days later I received an offer of employment where I am currently calling home, so a big thank you to Peter and his team for all the hard work, stay safe and keep the good up the work.
