Having started my career in the Financial Services industry, I was invited to join one of the UKs leading recruitment agencies as a Trainee Consultant in 1996 after displaying a certain set of behavioural qualities at a friend's Stag weekend at Butlin's. There began my love affair with recruitment and I enjoyed each of the roles I performed on my way to Regional Manager during the following seven years.
