The STR Group started with just 3 staff and operated out of premises that reflected the size and age of the operation. Established in 2000 our history and heritage is incredibly important to us and we have never forgotten our roots. We like to think this is what makes us stand out in an industry with limited differentiators.
We are aware of a number of scams currently being carried out by fraudsters purporting to be genuine recruitment organisations. This fraudulent activity has recently been highlight on BBC's 'Rip Off Britain' and by the not for profit organisation 'Safer-Jobs'. When pressed for more substantial information, share a real recruitment company's detail to try and mislead individual's and coerce them into providing identification document and money, and.Request immediate payments from candidates on application for a role to facilitate apparent 'training' and security checks.
At the STR Group and our specialist recruitment brands, we partner with different organisations, charities, non-profits and accreditors to address skills challenges facing candidates and companies around the world. As part of urban's (our Architecture & Interior Design division's) commitment to BeMore inclusive, we have launched the #BeMoreInclusive programme with Blueprint for All (formally known as the Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust) to support young people from under-represented backgrounds into architecture and to help built environment employers to access a more diverse workforce.
