I have been to several private events at this charming little place in downtown Raritan in NJ. Superb food and very friendly service. Over the past few years my family and friends had Catering Solutions cater several affairs for us. Twice at our homes and a large holiday party in Princeton. Catering Solutions does an unbelievable job and can truly be recognized as a premier off premises caterer. Casual or elegant, they truly make you feel, being a guest at your own party. I hear they opened a second luncheon eatery location at Princeton Corporate Plaza on route 1, can not wait to try it. Dr. Ezzat

We went to the Kitchen on Saturday night and what a great surprise. Raritan is such a family friendly town and the Kitchen fits in perfectly with the neighborhood. Our family of five, with three boys, and our friends, with two boys, had a wonderful dinner. Everybody was really happy with their meals. I had the fish taco and can't remember having such fresh fish except at the shore.
So tasty, especially with homemade coleslaw with a little bite to it. Yum. The French fries were a real hit. They were presented in butcher paper inside a swirly metal stand and the kids all thought that was pretty special. The boys had steak and it was cooked to perfection. We can't wait to go back.

We are always looking for a great local place, and we found it with The Kitchen in Raritan. Family friendly setting with excellent food and reasonable prices. We started with the shrimp in garlic sauce for an appetizer and it had the perfect amount of 'zing' to it. The chicken parmigiana was excellent as well as huge, took the rest home to have for dinner the next day.
The 3 course tasting menu had a great variety of excellent foods. The kids LOVED the chicken caesar salad as well as the flour-less chocolate cake that they devoured before we had a chance to try. The Kitchen will be added to our list of restaurants to attend.
