Absolutely cannot fault Step! Everyone there has been super helpful all the way from start to finish with my application. Continued support and some great opportunities in teaching too! From a final year BEd student working flexibly during my final year of study, hoping to go full time as of September, I cannot recommend them enough!

Excellent service so far. The team are extremely friendly and helpful. The staff I spoke to were mostly qualified teachers themselves so could relate which was nice. Also, they seem to really care about your needs and trying to keep you in the profession in a more flexible manner. They cater everything around you which is excellent. Surprised there aren't more supply teachers to be honest but i can see the pros and cons to both supply and permeant placements. Look forward to working with these guys!

Steps have always been professional and caring, my experience with the team in north London has always been positive. Regular work and flexibility and always with a cheery manner, Tarminder, Adam W and Adam G are there to reassure and to answer any questions I have about any assignment - they're fantastic! A great agency to work for, so I haven't bothered with others! Keep up the good work guys!

I applied for a job with Step teachers and successfully passed the interview stage and was then invited to come for a trial. After the trial I was told I did well and they would like to offer me a job but they would give me some time to think about this as this was a new industry for me and they would contact me back in a week. I was then contacted and asked if I was still interested in the job and I told them I was and I had even declined another job which paid slightly less, I was then told to wait for them to contact me back so they can advise me on a date when I could officially start the role.

I waited for 2 weeks and even took a rest from applying for other roles as I thought I'd already secured a position. Two weeks passed and I heard nothing back so I decided to contact them for an update. I was told by the person they would get an update and call me back in 10 minutes. I was then called back an hour later and I was told the job was no longer available and they decided to go with someone else to my amazement.

I did ask why I wasn't told and especially after all that time had passed, and I was told sorry it's not my decision shocking way to treat people especially during a pandemic when people are struggling to find employment.

I have been empoyed by this agency for a number of years and agree with the positive reviews written. I have worked with many of the agents in Steps, and find them all very professional. They build a working relationship with the clients, getting to know what you want and do their best to deliver. Having covered many schools since I started working as a cover teacher I tend to meet other cover teachers working for a variety of agencies, but they always seem to express satisfaction with this agency.

This past few months have been very difficult for us all but Steps teachers showed their loyalty to their cover teachers, ensuring we were furloughed up to September, and are putting plans into action for September. No easy task as the schools are not sure themselves what is happening then. I would definitely recommend Steps teachers.

Such a professional and friendly teaching agency. I have been with them for more than a year now and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is passionate about education! I do strongly recommend working with Sam H., my recruiter - he is brilliant! He has always made sure I was happy where I was working and, thanks to him, I have been working as a TA in a great school since September last year.
