Having set up an interview with one of my friends at 10 am, true to form the representative from this company failed to appear. This left my friend very upset and disappointed. Especially as they had apparently head hunter her and she had to wake up at 2am for this interview. Reading reviews online, I see this is common for the company. Stay away and use a better recruitment agency

I think we can safely say life changed for everyone during this pandemic. Redundancies, uncertainty and heartbreak. I consider myself to be a very positive person, but even I was starting to lose hope seeing all of the news stories about people losing their jobs when I was searching for a new one! From the moment Heather at Macildowie contacted me, I felt uplifted and full of hope.

During the pandemic I was unfortunately made redundant. I made contact with Macildowie following up on a job I had seen advertised via total jobs. Emma Welsh was super helpful, supportive and gave me so much encouragement. Her communication was outstanding. I am also pleased to say that I was the successful candidate for this role and start my new job next week. The support before each interview really helped my confidence and I would highly recommend this agency.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Met with Dave who was wonderful & thorough, made me feel like i'm not alone in my job search! Heather was AMAZING! Found me the PERFECT role, got me in for my interview quick, and was VERY friendly & helpful on email, text, calls & in person! I would STRONGLY recommend Macildowie & all the team, not just Heather & Dave! They are a wonderful agency & would highly recommend using them! Honestly super thankful for Macildowie! NB: Can see why role was available.

A week ago I had an assessment centre with Macildowie Outstanding Recruitment. After I received a phone call from the firm and I got to say - I was in confusion. The phone call after an assessment centre was meant to be a feedback discussion. Not even for a second, I heard anything good about my performance. Neither group work or individual task. were discussed. Moreover, I have been told that "Before you came here, we heard that you have been connecting with people and asking for a piece of advice regarding an assessment centre and that kind of behaviour put us away". This is saying that I have been crossed from the list before I even came for the assessment centre. You read hundreds of.

Arranged a meeting with these guys, they were a no show, didn't even let me know they weren't going to turn up. Very unprofessional. Then they had the audacity to call me 2 hours later after the meeting should have happened stating "I was in meetings all morning I'm ringing to reschedule" Really you think that is going to happen?
