Really enjoyed our stay (5 stars) but the waste management is worrying (hence the 3 stars), considering all the wildlife and nature around the site. The water tap bucket was all the rubbish I collected myself alone! This isn't only a Wowo Campsite mismanagement, it's also down to the visitors. I understand it's impossible to clear everyone else's rubbish. I may revisit but hope they start dealing with the waste with more priority or even try to reduce it.

We went just outside the school holidays and it was so quiet. Fabulous camping site for pitch camping and glamping. We stayed in the cherry tree geodome - superb. Will be returning.

We camped here for two nights and it was super. We are a family of five and the two older boys, 6 and 4 had an absolute ball playing in the river, the woods and the rope swings. We took part in the bushcraft workshops which were really well received - perfect age is around 5-11 Id say. The toilet and shower facilities were good and well maintained.

There was a free story telling tour on Saturday evening and live music. All in all a wonderful spot so beautiful and the people working there were all very helpful and friendly. Five stars!

Great site but prices in peak periods mean off peak weekends only for us.

Have always loved WoWo. A lot of work has gone into it since we last visited and it was our first visit for a couple of years. Really nice to be back

Great campsite, family oriented, kids of all ages running around unsupervised (they call them 'free range kids'). Good shop with local produce, regular trucks with hot food in the evenings, toilets and showers cleaned a few times a day and always stocked. We love it. There is Bluebell Railway nearby, which is meant to be great fun, but we now visited twice and felt no need to go anywhere, just enjoyed the camping experience.

I'm giving Wowo 5 stars because I always had such a beautiful experience here. So much cool stuff on site / brand new reception area & shop and a gorgeous wild spa. The batteries were super expensive tho and the water pressure on the tower block in upper moat is almost hilariously bad - especially when someone washes up But the top showers are great and there are fabulous off camp forest walks for dog walking and a fabulous swimming spot too!
